Servida en copa Gordon, color granate oscuro, espuma beige claro cremosa abundante y perfectamente retenida. Aroma no muy potente, pero si atractivo a caramelo, toffe, frutos negros, ciruela madura, maltas oscuras, pasas... En boca, destaca de entrada el dulzor maltoso y acaramelado, que contrasta y equilibra con un final levísimamente amargo, a destacar unas interesantes notas de frutos rojos y cerezas que, aparte de dar diversión y alegría al paladar, aportan el puntito de acidez que redondea maravillosamente el trago. Definitivamente es una pequeña delicia esta cerveza.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Durable pearl white head over a near-clear amber body, good lacing. Moderate aromas of herbal hops and berry skins. Mixed taste of dark berries and some yeasty fruitiness. Mid-sweet soft fruity ending. Mouthfilling. Decent. (Tromsø, 23.01.2024).

Canned 500ml. -from Carrefour Aosta. Darker golden coloured, small to medium sized white head, alcohol in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, metal, heavy alcohol and green apple with again heavy alcohol in the finish. Usless.

Girofle et genévrier sont au programme de cette Altus qui ne met pas réellement en valeur ces épices par une base déséquilibrée. Le visuel est sur un ambré limpide avec une fine effervescence soutenue et une mousse blanc cassé de 5 mm. Le nez est sur le caramel, un alcool bien présent et le genévrier et le girofle. En bouche, les épices sont bien présentes, c'est déjà une bonne chose. Des arômes de poivre sont également présents. Ils y sont tout de même allés un peu trop fort et l'ensemble pique quelque peu. A l'attaque une acidité malvenue est présente. L'alcool, pour sa part, est un peu trop dure du haut de ses 6,8%. Le final quelconque n'est pas très intéressant pour une bière décevante.

Clear amber copper beer, solid creamy light beige to yellow head, a little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty, fruity, apples and pears, a hint of citrus. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice malty start, caramel, a bit sweet, gentle bitterness, a bit yeasty, some banana. Aftertaste: malty, grains, sweet, pretty bitter, metallic touch, ripe to overripe banana, caramel malts, decent enough.
