Bottle. Clear medium amber orange color with a large frothy / creamy excellent lacing mostly lasting off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy yeasty, moderate malty, toasted, light alcoholic, notes cardboard / paper. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. Clear medium brown color with a average frothy good lacing mostly lasting light brown head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla ?. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet (sugar sweet /synthetic sweet) with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Typical looking white beer. A little flat. It has a fresh, salty aroma. The flavour is okay but lacks a little is spice and yeastiness. It a bit watery but certainly clean and quite refreshing.

Bottle. This version is 5.8% ABV. Nice hoppy aroma, a bit fruity. Malt and lots of hops in the flavor as well as some caramel. Slightly hoppy bitter, with some more of the bitterness towards the finish. Medium-bodied. Very enjoyable.

Bottle at KØ07. Clear golden colour, small white head. Caramelly flavour, very peppery and harsh. Too much pepper. Way unbalanced.

Bottle with a spooky design: Poured a reddish-orange with a off white color head. The aroma was sweet and hints of cinniman to my nose. The flavor was very sweet candy malt with a berry or fruit finish.Earlier Rating: 6/3/2007 Total Score: 3.4Bottle: First off the bottle presentation is awesome and nice to look at, with all the lines as writing in white which brings out the red. Poured a red amber with a thin white head. Fruity sorta cherry aroma. The taste was sweet berry malt flavor, very candy and lasting finish. The best Gordon I have had from the finest series!

Canned. golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is alcohol, sweet malts as well as some spices. Flavour is alcohol, sweet malts and some fruit. The fun thing is, if I wouldn’t know it’s a belgian strong ale, I would go for the fact it’s a very wellbalanced ESL or ML, I still think it’s a wellbalanced thing, even though I would wait for a bit more both aroma and flavourwise from a Belgian Strong Ale.
