On tap at Reverend Nat's, pours a crystal clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out a mix of coffee and Frank's hot sauce. Flavour is nasty, bringing out nasty Frank's red hot sauce and maybe some faint coffee grounds. This is quite vile. Not good, but somehow intriguing.

On tap at Reverend Nat's, pours a crystal clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out wild apples, not a whole lot else. Flavour brings out a barnyard notes, apples, and wild notes. Fairly complex and drinkable, sort of like a wild cider. Nice one.

On tap at Reverend Nat's, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is complex, with barnyard funk and yeast dominating. Flavour is also complex, with lots of yeast, some funk, rustic notes, and apples. Quite exquisite, with the many yeasts creating a nice complexity.

On tap at Reverend Nat's, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of ginger and some faint sweet apple. Flavour is like a gin and tonic, with a prominent ginger quality. Too ginny and tonic-y. Not too enjoyable, but well-enough done. Okay.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Pale blond color with few bubbles on the surface. The aroma is mild, fresh, fruity, summery. The mouthfeel is quite dry; it has a delicate apple flavor, nice fruity touch, light acidity.
Not complex, but at least pleasant and flawless.

Cloudy tan. Great nose with blackberry, spice, and the palate has fresh apple juice, with lots of malic tartness, cut by sweet apricot juice...while the hop from the aroma has disappeared but this is fun stuff.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear pale yellow with a tiny head. Aroma brings out sweet caramelized apples almost exclusively. Flavour brings out slightly tart apples, caramelized notes, and light residual sugar. Nice balance, but not on the complex level of some of Reverand Nat's other beers.

Bottle. Pours with a hazy clear golden yellow hue with a moderately sized white head that fades. Aromas are of tropical fruit, herbal hops, stone fruit, ginger, spice, mild apple. Flavors are of tropical fruit, apricot, anise and coriander. Apple is hidden. Mildly spicy phenol, herbaceous feeling (hops and spice). Fuller carbonation, medium dry.

Bottle. Pours with a hazy golden yellow hued body with what appears to be minimal carbonation. Aromas are of strong, raw ginger, lightly zesty limes, apple, low sulfur, lemongrass, chai tea, and some earthy/woody notes. Flavors are bitter, herbal and spicy. Not very dry, somewhat medicinal. Lemongrass, ginger, pinesol, bug spray. What really hurts is the low carbonation (~2.2 vol), with a moderately tannic body. Feels a bit muted/flabby. Okay acid balance. Decent.
