Bottle at Masseria Susafa, 31st May 17. Pours clear and clean, some head. Aroma is aromatic, perfume hops, citrus. Taste is aromatic and bitter, citrus, grapefruit, very strong malt balance. Excellent IPA.

Bottle from La Torre del Luppolo, Pisa. Pours almost black with a small off-white head. Aroma has wonderful hoppy lead, with chocolate, vanilla, coffee, citrus and dark fruit. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium to full bodied, slight oily texture, soft to average carbonation. Really good, very enjoyable.

Draft at La Belle Alliance. Aroma of citrus hops and tropical fruit. Taste has tropical fruit, citrus and bitter hops. Simple, but it works quite well.

Bottle at home, 14th May 17. Pours black, thinnish. Aroma is liquorice, chocolate. Taste is liquorice, sweet and bitter. It’s fine, but fairly forgettable.

Draft @ ML Fontainas Bologna Night. Merci Adrien et Vincent. Dorée, col blanc crémeux. Arôme est généreux niveau houblons, retrouve toutes les bonnes choses des C-Hops et côté ouest. Load of tropical, pin et résineux. Palais est malté, superbement bien houblonné, fruité avec du pin, résineux des agrumes dans une lignée direct US. Simple, efficace.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma beige media. Al naso sentori di malti tostati, caffè, cioccolata, liquirizia. In bocca è un po’ sgraziata, dolce con finale di radice e acidulo da tostato. Corpo pieno, carbonazione medio-leggera. Discreta.
