Bright red to cyclamen colour; dense pinkish head leaving lace. Artificial sweet cherry, childrens’ sweets aroma, bit almondy or cherry stones, frangipane. Syrupy sweet taste, with a retronasal flavour of old, shriveled cherries. After some time, the marzipan-frangipane flavour dominates. Some syrupy slikcness; light to medium bodied with a slight, not entirely unpleasant titillating sensation. Way, way too sweet & artificial.

Chestnut coloured beer, slightly irregular beige-yellow head, leaving lace. Sweet, caramalt, and coconut-chocolate. Diacetyl, sweet, scorched notes, liquorice. Sticky but all the same watery texture, light body. Not really erfreulich .

Orangey hued, pale-greenish beer with good, consistent white head. Perfumed, very coriander-determined nose. Perfumed, slightly soupy taste, with an orange flower flavour. Sweet-ish. Slick, grist MF, light to medium bodied; Just a tad too perfumey-sweet.

Pale gold; small off-white head leaving textbook lace. Soja-like nose, even soja shoots, and steamed rice + sweet grain in the nose. Basmate rice flavour!! Sweet, and just a hint of hops, fast gone. Crisp, though not like a maize beer would be. Not bad - and the Basmati rice flavour is an aroma, not an adjunct! Special name for a lager.

Draught Very huge, slightly yellowish head, leaving textbook lace; golden beer. Very dry, grainy smell, pinch of sweetness in the nose that makes it adjunct-like. Quite sweet, with yeasty and meaty touches, bit of pale malt. Light MF, slightly cloying feel. Bit boring pilsener, bit sweet, though nothing wrong.

(bottle) Clear ruby coloured with a small but stable foamy off-white head. Sweet caramel aroma with a light fruity (raisins, figs) note. Sweetbitter flavour, medium body, almost creamy mouthfeel. Initially medium sweet malty with dried fruits and caramel, medium dry and bitter finish with a lasting aftertaste, slightly alcoholic.

A yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is primarily hoppy, while the flavor is sweet malty. Average pils.

A yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy, while the flavor is slightly malty combined with strong notes of hops, giving it a dry end. The body is thin, and all in all its a boring beer.
Earlier Rating: 2/5/2004 Total Score: 2.3
An orange beer with a small diappearing head. The aroma is of malt, oranges, and hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of fruit - especially oranges. Very fruity for a pilsener - but still average.

(Can 33 cl) Pilsener golden with a small, white head. Weak notes of malt, but mainly dominated by an unpleasant, metallic tang. Some tartness in the finish. 300705

(Bottle 25 cl) Pilsener golden with a decent, creamy head. Weak, malty nose. Very thin-bodied and watery. Main flavour is iron.... Nothing else comes to mind. 280705

(Bottle 25 cl) Red coloured beer with a pretty, full, pinkisk head that collapses rather fast though. A strange, indefinable scent. Not very sweet, actually more - and rather unusually - bitter. Unusual but not unpleasant. Don’t really know what the base beer is for this - neither Lambic nor Flemish sour. 080599

(Bottle 25 cl) Surprisingly pale amber (for a "Speciale") with a tall, pretty head. Slight perfumy touch, with a pronounced maltiness. High drinkability - will also appeal to pils-drinkers. 171297
