At Woodchuck® we have been crafting America’s original hard cider since 1991. Back then we didn’t really care that the world was drinking beer, because we had a passion for hard cider. So that’s what we made. Sure, cider may be popular now, either way we’ve stayed true to our roots, fermenting quality innovative ciders with every batch, because we like it.

Can, didn't check the date, at McLaughlin's, Lincolnville, Maine, 7/12/25. My girlfriend ordered this.
Clear, fizzy, orange-rust-golden.
Smells sweet and like someone poured me a glass of Mac juice. Clean, at least, but sugary.
Clean, again, but even sugarier than Downeast, which is impressive. Apple candy. Fizzy, insipid, mass market crap.

this cider poured a caramel-amber color with a trace of a white head. The aroma was dryish apple with a touch of wood. The flavor was medium sweet and tart apple. Less tart and sweet than the original. Medium length tart apple finish. Not a whole lot of oak flavor to this one.

Sampled from a 12 oz green bottle this cider poured a yellow-amber color with a trace white head that faded quickly. The aroma was sweet and spicy dried apple with notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. The flavor was tart and sweet spiced apples with nutmeg and clove underlying. The cider turned a bit dry towards the long apple finish. Light to medium body. Nice.
