About
The Brand that Started the American Cider Revolution
At Woodchuck® we have been crafting America’s original hard cider since 1991. Back then we didn’t really care that the world was drinking beer, because we had a passion for hard cider. So that’s what we made. Sure, cider may be popular now, either way we’ve stayed true to our roots, fermenting quality innovative ciders with every batch, because we like it.

Straggler bottle from the bottom shelf of the beer fridge... Orange cooper color with a minimal head. Light cider notes with faint spice fill the nose. Rather mild. The taste is a mild cider, apple and light bits of yeast, followed by a little pumpkin spice. Mild overall, I’m pretty sure this was 1-2 years old when I got it so I would definitely give a fresh one a new review.

Bottle: Clear orange with a tiny white ring. Apple, chile pepper scent. Taste is apple....pretty sweet, followed by a decent pepper heat. Not awful, but a little gimmicky.....you could recreate this yourself at home.

Single from New Beer Distro. Pint glass pour. Clear, golden amber body. Quick-hitting spritz. Smell is a freshly popped bottle of Adam & Eve apple juice(Mott’s is sweeter), plus a little citric acid and splash of white grape juice. Taste is just a bit sweeter then straight apple juice. Grape juice is definitely there. Sort of like a juice box blend. Low abv, tart bittersweet skin finish, slight browned fruit flavor. Straight juice. They really hit the "natural flavor" mark with this one. While I’m opposed to that sort of false flavoring, this is the first Woodchuck I’ve tolerated in a long while.

Pour is a clear golden with no head at all .Aroma is sweet apples with a little cinnamon. Flavor is sweet apple but finishes pretty dry. I’m not a cider fan but this was ok. It did have a nice apple flavor without being overly sweet.

12 ounce bottle, 6/21/16. Clear golden, thin fizzy head that quickly fades. Aroma of syrupy pancakes and apples. The taste is mildly smoky wood, maple, sweet apples. Thin bodied and overly sweet, but not cloying and somewhat enjoyable.
