At Woodchuck® we have been crafting America’s original hard cider since 1991. Back then we didn’t really care that the world was drinking beer, because we had a passion for hard cider. So that’s what we made. Sure, cider may be popular now, either way we’ve stayed true to our roots, fermenting quality innovative ciders with every batch, because we like it.

Amber Hard Cider from Woodchuck Cider

355ml bottle @ ALB bar, Shrewsbury. Not sure if this was a seperate entry, as it’s from a bottle, but can’t be bothered entering a new one. Pours fairly clear gold, white bubbly head. Sweet apple aroma. Taste is smooth, slick with a syrupy sweet cider character. Pleasant, easy-drinking. Decent.

Pours clear bright golden, no head or lacing. Aroma of crisp apples. Taste is sweet and sugary then tart ripe apples, dry finish

Bottle from Market Basket Crystal clear deep golden with a smattering of white bubbles that dissipate almost immediately. Brown sugar and apple on the nose with a hint of tart fruit that rounds it nicely. Sweet and tart apple with bits of brown sugary sweetness. Lingering sweet apple juice flavor. Quite quaffable, pretty tasty actually.

Bottle: Clear, lightly pink, with a small white ring. Sweet red apple aroma. Lightly tart-sweet red apple flavour. Pretty standard cider.....just tinted pink as a novelty.

Bottle from the mixed twelve pack. Smells like breakfast in a glass. Rich maple syrup aromas but almost seem like Aunt Jemima. Very little if any cider in the nose. Smoked almost overdone smoke with moderate maple flavor and a light apple cider behind it. Smells awesome, but after a few sips the novelty wears off and then you wonder if you can finish the glass.

This is pretty tasty, a nice mix of sweet and sour. Refreshing but with a sweet finish.

Bottle. Apple juice/candy and light straw aroma. Golden yellow. Very sweet apple juice and mildly bitter hay flavor. Pleasant - not cloyingly sweet but up there.

Bottle: Clean, bubbly gold with a quick white head. BIG apple scent. Taste is sweet-tart, juicy apple. Finishes nicely dry. Clean and bright.

Clear maroon-pink pour with no head or lacing. Taste is sweet but tart with a hint of dark cherry flavor. Dry finish. Wine-like. 6.9 ABV is well hidden.

Bottle from Bert’s Brilliantly clear deep ruby color with a minimal head that dissipates almost immediately. Brown sugary apple with plenty of sweet and tart cherries. Faint vanilla and woody oak round this out quite nicely. Very Nice Cider!
