Description
The Brand that Started the American Cider Revolution

At Woodchuck® we have been crafting America’s original hard cider since 1991. Back then we didn’t really care that the world was drinking beer, because we had a passion for hard cider. So that’s what we made. Sure, cider may be popular now, either way we’ve stayed true to our roots, fermenting quality innovative ciders with every batch, because we like it.

Can, clear pale no head. Slight apple blueberry nose. Yes, apple cider with a touch of berry. Plenty of unfermented sugar. Perhaps a little better than most woodcchuks, has a sweetness lower than most of there brews. But mind you, this is not a dry cider, by far. Goes down pretty easy and has a decent amount of co2. Looking for some tartness, but can't really find any. Ok for a tick, but due to the sweetness, would not buy again.

From a can. Nice looking darker burgundy clear pour. Nose is beautiful bouquet of friendly fruity berries. First taste is very friendly berries with just a tad of booze. Good level of co2 on top of tartness gives this quite a palate ride. Not as much sugar as I was expecting from a woodchuck, but the level is still higher than average compared to most other ciders. Middle remains fruity and tight. A little more of the alky starts to come thru on the finish. Not bad considering its a woodchuck. Just a little worried about how the sugar may burn my poor little tummy.

I forgot how much I like pears. More ciders should be made from pears.
