19.2 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Jet black pour. Frothy tan head. Roasted malt aroma. Notes of coffee, dark brown sugar, dark dried fruit. Intense, bittersweet roasted malt flavor. Espresso, treacle, vanilla, dank citrus. Yeah, it’s boozy, yeah it’s big. Go for it. On a side note, I found this at Cranbury Super Buy Rite. This place used to be a great craft beer singles destination. Management has effectively eliminated the option of purchasing single cans and bottles of choice craft beers. They have closed their growler station as well. Unfortunately, this location has become just another average liquor store.

Can split at Columbus, thanks to the Wingmane, 31/07/19. Hazed golden orange with a good sized just off white cap. Nose is ripe tropical fruits, melon, pine nip, orange pith, mango, guava. Taste comprises ripe melon, grapefruit, airy malts, pine resin, mango, orange zest. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy hop bitterness allied to a balanced rising boost. Tidy DIPA.

Super hazy golden and slightly coppered coloured body with a thick-ish, two to three centimetre tall off-white head that fades pretty quickly and doesn't leave a trace. Aroma of limes, cherries, lactose, lactobilly notes, berries and a big dose of wheat and some relatively pungent sweetness, but the fruit notes and lactose are by far the strongest. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong cherry and lime flavours dominate with a big shirley temple punch and a lot of sweetness, with some wheat notes and a moderate yeast and breadiness along with a pure sweetness at the end that shows much more of a soda than a beer. Aftertaste shows some pure sweetness from the fruits with the cherries especially strong and some lime and citrus acidity to cut the sugar, but the wheat is relatively small here at the end with just the soda-like flavours are pungent, in a good way, if you are expecting that. Overall, a pretty nice, super fruity and sweet beer that shows way more limes and cherries than I was expecting with a great deal of residual sugars, no alcohol at all here and only a touch of wheat at the end. Great to sample and a very nice beer to have, especially if you like fruits and shirley temples in specific. Easy-drinking and definitely worthwhile to have in the warm months here in the mid-atlantic. I sampled this sixteen ounce can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 18-December-2021 for US$4,59 sampled at my house here in Washington on 26-April-2022.

12 oz can from John, thanks again for the can my guy, 4/12/22. No canning date, but it has a best by date in December of 2022, which, if true, is pretty impressive for a hoppy beer. Hazy yellowish-orange colored beer. Citrusy hop flavor, lemon, lime, grapefruit. Fizzy. A touch thin, but not overly so. Lively carbonation. Quite drinkable. I like it.
