Housed in a late Victorian building that was once a home, a church, a dance studio, and an architectural salvage store, the Wrecking Bar Brewpub has worked to become a cornerstone of the neighborhood. With a focus on comfortable atmosphere, clean and exciting locally sourced food, an extensive bar program, and excellent beer crafted in house, the goal is to maintain a restaurant that has has something for everyone. Bottle shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks. A hazed mucky brown coloured pour with a a halo of off white head. Aroma is semi sweet, chewy malts, green apple, tangy, brown sugars, mellow funk. Flavour is composed of semi sweet nice warming bourbon barrel, vanilla, oaky, green apple, light tang, complex funk, barrel.. Nice. Palate is semi sweet chewy, tangy, highish carbonation. Good.

Murky deep amber with a light beige cap that veers to the edge.
Nose is tangy fruits, booze, earthy, barrel notes.
Taste comprises caramel, stewed fruits, dates, figs, spice.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced lick of booze offered.
Tidy.
