Description
Housed in a late Victorian building that was once a home, a church, a dance studio, and an architectural salvage store, the Wrecking Bar Brewpub has worked to become a cornerstone of the neighborhood. With a focus on comfortable atmosphere, clean and exciting locally sourced food, an extensive bar program, and excellent beer crafted in house, the goal is to maintain a restaurant that has has something for everyone. Come grab a beer at the bar, or meet up with family and friends for dinner.

Many thanks! Sampled bottle. Black with zero head. Nose is cinnamon cookies, chilli, cookie, bourbon, rye, caramel,… Taste is spectacular, tastes like cinnamon cookies, vanilla, chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon, caramel, mocha, sweet chocolate, pure, clear amazingly good chili in the finish, just the right amount, milk chocolate. Utterly spectacular.

On tap at Wrecking Pub, pours a reddish dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out oats and dusty dry toasted malt. Flavour is more full-bodied than suggested by the nose, with toasted malt, dry cocoa and oats. Dry and hearty. Decent stuff.

On tap at Wrecking Pub, pours a cloudy peachy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of pithy stone fruits, plenty of yeast, and lightly dank, earthy hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of stone fruit pith, dank hops and plenty of yeast. Very yeasty and dank. It's okay.

On tap at Wrecking Pub, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted cereal grains and a touch of straw. Flavour is along the same lines, with straw, toasted grains and bready malt. Clean and easy-drinking, but nothing overly special.

On tap at Wrecking Pub, pours a hazy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with yogurty lacto, with a touch of citrus. Flavour is along the same lines, with loads of lacto and a touch of citrus. Gentle and fairly authentic. Nice stuff.

Flavour is loaded with watermelon juice and some skins, with gentle lacto and a touch of salt. More watermelon juice comes out here than anything. Decent.

Tap at brewpub. Hazy dark amber colour, medium-sized off-white. Riped tropical fruits in the nose. Medium-bodied. Tropical fruits, citrus, chewie maltyness, some sweetness. Reminds me about Mufloni CCCCC at home.

Tap at brewpub. Dark brown colour, small beige head. Lots coffee in the toasted nose. Medium-bodied. Toasted, coffeish stout with some more roasted and hoppy notes in the finish. Solid porter.

Tap at brewpub. Clear copper colour, small off-white head. Banana, bubblegum, Belgi yeast esters in the nose. Medium-bodied. Sweet. Caramel and banana. Light bready and spicey notes. Ok dubbel although simple.
