Description
Outer Range Brewing is a community-driven microbrewery in the small mountain town of Frisco, Colorado. Co-founder and Head Brewer Lee Cleghorn’s love of craft beer began when he lived in Belgium as a teenager, where the first beers he ever drank were world-class Belgian ales. That background has served as inspiration for his IPAs, which showcase the ester profile of these traditionally hop-forward beers. A graduate of the American Brewers Guild Brewing Science and Engineering school in Vermont, Lee runs Outer Range with his wife and co-founder Emily, who is the Chief Marketing Officer and leads the brewery’s branding, marketing, and sales efforts. They met while homebrewing beer together ten years ago, and today, brew for and with a passionate community who lives at the intersection of craft beer and the outdoor mountain lifestyle.

Can to tulip. Thanks Steve G.
Appearance: opaque orange in the glass with a less than a finger's worth of white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: some tropical fruity hop tones and white grapes and floral, citrus zesty and subtle piney hoppiness; swift clean malts brush underneath
Flavor: moderately sweet with subtle zestiness; sly aftertaste of tropical fruits, citrus zest and piney hops
Texture: medium bodied, some smoothness; mostly a sipper; finishes hop zesty and some passion fruitiness
Overall: a very nicely done NEIPA I would love to have again.

Aromas are resin, citrus, dry grain and moss. Flavors are similar to nose and balanced up front going towards lightly sweet in the finish. Full-bodied and soft carbonation. Also a little bit of hop burn at the end.

Can, brewed in France. Light hazy golden with fluffy white head. Some grapefruit, papaya, crisp malts, light bready, herbal hops, melon, light spruce. Medium sweet and bitter. Slick medium bodied. Not a NEIPA but a decent US style one.

23/XII/25 - on tap, shared with the misses @ Hôp[i] taproom (Lille), BB: n/a (2025-1463)
Cloudy milky pale yellow beer, creamy white head, a bit irregular and somewhat stable, pretty adhesive, leaving some fine lacing in the glass. Aroma: lovely, lots of citrus, grapefruit, a bit piny, grassy, zesty, some grapefruit. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very sweet start, way too sweet actually, a bit fruity, some khaki fruit, sweet, ripe banana, lots of oatmeal and/or lactose, not really sure, nothing bitter at all. Aftertaste: sweet, ripe to overripe fruits, kiwi, too sugary and cloying, no bitterness alas, this was not what I had hoped from the pleasant smell.
