~3 oz sample at the Boulevardia Taps & Tastes in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is hazed golden copper with a smallish off white head. The aroma is a nice blend of softly sweet malt, softly bitter pine and citrus hops, and the fresh and present Belgian yeast notes. The taste is the nose, a excellent balance of malt, hop and the yeast. Belgian IPAs often steer to hard in one direction or another for my personal preference, this one did a great job showcasing all flavors and keeping them integrated. Nice beer, certainly stood out at the festival.
