19th November 2024 Panda thanks to Cloin. A light haze on this slightly dirty looking gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Damp tasting malts, some slightly perfumey floralness. Light crisp pine, nibbly hop spice. Pretty ripe citrus. Light finish brings more hop spice. Not bad but these Greek malts are tasting a little odd, not just this brewer so, maybe the variety they are using.

can from samos perfumey flowery slightly malty aroma also with notes of dough Flavor is pale ale with a distinctly herbal and bitter hoppy finish. hopping reminds me more of a hopped pils than a hopped american pale ale. I just claims to be a pale ale so that's fine. Clearly drinkable, the solid bitterness makes it even interesting and balances the rather dull flowery malty start.

Bottle in the hotel on Aegina, picked up from either Tales of Ales or Barley Cargo in Athens, 13/10/24. Hazed orange topped with a lasting just off white head. Nose is ripe tropical fruit esters, melon, papaya, soft malts, passionfruit. Taste comprises tangerine, melon, mandarin, grass, airy malts, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow light juicy come grassy hop bitterness. Okay pale ... packs a good dose of bitterness throughout.
