d'Ooijevaer staat voor zes mannen, levensgenieters, die ernaar streven de wereld mooier te kleuren met de presentatie van een kwaliteitsbier. Een ultieme smaaksensatie die een stortvloed van emoties in je los maakt. En in dat streven is louter plaats voor de smaak, de reuk, het gevoel, de liefde voor bieren en bovenal het respect voor het ambacht bierbrouwen. Zes keer het individu met als uitkomst die ene missie: d'Ooijevaer! Een renaissance in de wereld der bieren!

Sampled at THT December. Very dark brown with tan head. Huge peat, medicinal peat, bandaids, soft roasted malts, roasted malts, light coffee. Basically just barrel. Medium sweet and bitter. Full bodied.

Bottle courtesy of Boisebeerguy. Dark brown, syrupy pour. Relatively flat. Strong presence of brown sugar and molasses. Sweet, smooth. Alcohol turns up late with warmth in the gullet. Very enjoyable.
