At the source: pours near black with beige head. Aroma is roasted and toasted malts and rye and coke. Taste is spicy and bitter and kind of sweet. Nice body. Some aftertaste. Pretty solid.

At the source: pours slight haze with a white head. Maybe should have called it a kellerbier... aroma is floral and lightly sugary. Taste is low bitterness and kind of sweet. Very drinkable. Very perfumey.

At the source: pours hazy orange with white head. Aroma is citrusy juiciness. Taste is juicy and citrusy. Solid but fairly standard fare for the style I suppose.

Draft at Rattle ’n’ Hum West, New York. Pours slightly hazy pale amber with a small white head. Aroma of intense tropical and citrus fruit, fruit juices, opel fruits, and hop. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.
