Pours an almost black color with a thick, creamy head on top. Lots of dark malts and booze come through on the aroma. Some earthy hops as well. Not super sweet at all. Decently bitter and roasty. Full bodied. Somewhat dry. Good beer.

Thought this was a decent Tripel. The cherry flavor is present, but it isn't overpowering. It is, however, rather sweet as an addition, and being added to an already sweet beer, makes it a little too sweet for my personal preference. Drinks decently, it gets slightly cloying, but otherwise enjoyable. Overall, well enough made, but this beer is sweet on sweet. I need something else to balance it out.

Thought this was pretty on-style as far as the pumpkin spice (more so than pumpkin) beers go. Cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, etc. on the aroma and flavor. Orange pour. Solid mouthfeel. Definitely an enjoyable beer for fans of the style. It isn't one of the best examples, but it isn't close to the worst either. Overall, I would call this one very solid.

Dark brown color with a lighter brown head. Lots of bourbon on the aroma, with the underlying roasted/coffee malts as well. Fairly full bodied, with some heat/burn to it. Pretty nice example of a BBA Imperial Porter.

Growler from the brewery, 8/30/15. It looks like they have updated this slightly since it was originally added. It is now 8.2% and called Sim-notic. Otherwise, it seems to be the same beer. Anyway, it pours a nice, clear, darker orangish color with a small beige head and some drippy lace. Good hop forward aroma. Earthy, pine, and a bit of fruity. Flavor is similar. Malts are definitely understated here. Nice mouthfeel. Average carbonation. Pretty drinkable for an 8.2% offering. Finishes quite dry. One of best things I've had from Cricket Hill.

New Beer Distributors, NYC bomber ($7.25): This is probably too expensive for this bottle, but oh well. In any case, this is not an amber lager, but looks like a Schwarbier or at least a dunkel with a near black body with a tan head. Aroma is chocolate and roast and lager smell. Taste is chocolatey, sticky, and a bit sweet. Aftertaste is roasty chcolate. Not bad.

This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about thirty seconds leaving some light ringy lacing sticking around the glass.
The smell consisted of a light breadiness over some citrus hops and allowing a light caramel malt to tie it all up.
The taste was malty sweet with just a tad citrus sweetness to balance. A slight crisp semi - sharp bitterness rolls into the aftertaste and leads to a quick wet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat smooth and allowed a light bitterness to stroll over my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good APA that I could have again. No frills, but solid.

Draught @ NYC Craft Beer Festival. Cloudy bright yellow with large off-white foamy head, low carbonation, little hops taste, medium bitter finish. Not a great IPA.
