12oz can pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is grain bread malts citrus hops. Taste is more of the grain bread malts citrus and some melons.

It’s rare to see a new beer-tasting malt liquor these days, this stovepipe can came from the cooler at the most-shopped HEB. The label sort of jumped out at me, I like it. Wrapped in the standard brown bag, I lift the tab. Yes, it does smell like a beer, good start. The drink is not bad, perhaps a bit too sweet to my liking, but that is minor. Corn syrup, grain, corn, a bit of romilar and an indication of the alcohol. Similarities to Eight Ball but not in that league. I’d certainly drink again and I do appreciate the brewery being adventurous.

Sixer from Tom Thumb outside of Dallas. The 8/04/22 inspired me more than anything. Also, how they actually wrapped a different beer can with this new print. It's very obvious. Pint glass @the Lodge. Lush, tall, lacy, off-white head. Dirty orange/tea/amber body. Smell is orange, spice, lime pith, sweet onion. Smooth, new pine, sweet onion, veg, apple juice, long lingering white & un-sweet grapefruit pith. Frothy, starchy, low carb, kinda boozy for what it is. Okay cold.

Canned January 12, 2022, drunk 2/14/22. Clear, deep bronze with a small, but fairly dense/well-retained, white head. Nose is pine, sweaty C-hops, some light-to-moderate sourdough-like maltiness and a reasonable sweetness of honey and graham cracker. Hops are pretty liberally used and smell well-taken-care-of. Citrus, pine, resin, sweat and light yellow fruit. Fairly malty, well-attenuated, with a reaonably soft, though at times somewhat grainy-to-biscuity texture with pine resin, lemon, orange and C-hop sweatiness. Definitely quite bitter, though not obnoxiously so. Nothing crazy here, but I thought it was a pretty well-malted, balanced, on the hop forward side West Coast IPA.

12 Oz can, drank on 19th December 2021 while staying in Laguna Hills at my daughters house. Orange hue to the golden/amber body, off-white head. Hoppy nose with a citrus leaning, taste 50/50 with the malty base. I liked the blend and balance, some piney hop bite in the finish.
