Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a dark amber close to brown color with a finger and a half’s worth of white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Light lingering lace.
The aroma had some mocha, milk chocolate, slight coffee with a little bit of honey sweetness. Light toast.
The flavor pulled in the prior mentioned aromas to create a decent rich sweet aftertaste. Finish was a creamy sweetness.
The feel was closer to light bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Some carbonation. ABV was there.
Overall, aromas and flavors were there, but the body seemed like it could have been \"beefed\" up a bit more.

Can. Faintly cloudy golden yellow with small foamy off-white head, malt aroma with a hint of citrus, high carbonation, bitter malty taste, thin body, long bitter finish. Nothing to write home about.

Can at RnH-West. Slightly unclear golden color. Frothy head, coating and spotty lace. Much more of a classic IPA, without the hop juice and with real bitterness. Fairly light aroma of pine, citrus rind, and earth. Flavor is fairly heavy bitter. ABV comes through pretty strongly. This could get you a strong buzz. Carbonation is average-plus. Finishes dry. I would not recommend this to anyone who likes their IPAs without the bitterness, but if you like a well-made bitter DIPA, this is nice.

At the source: pours black with a tan head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, herbs, pine, and stuff. Taste is a combination of roast and light hoppage. Light dark chocolate. Body is not heavy. Yet it is pretty easy to drink. Nice complexity. Good.

At the source: pours amber with a thick off white head. Aroma is herbal, malty, with some flowers. Taste is very malty. Thick and somewhat sweet. Lingering bitter aftertaste. Very British... If you like that. Well made but I am not a huge fan of the maltiness.
