Draught @ NYC Beer Week Opening Bash. Hazy yellow with very small frothy white head, faint citrus aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel taste, thin body, long bitter citrusy finish, The bitterness does not seem to link to the citrusy hops.

Draught @ NYC Beer Week Opening Bash. Murky reddish brown with small frothy beige head, caramel-molasses aroma, medium carbonation, bitter caramel-molasses taste, thin body, long bitter throat burning finish. The high alcohol content is not well covered.

NYC Beer Expo: Pours golden with a loose head. Aroma is yeasty and sugary. Taste is sweet. Not great. These guys got dark ales down... but a light saison... not so much.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours golden with a large white head. Aroma is vanilla and pale malts. Taste is a lot of vanilla, bourbon and tree. Nice bitter hoppy bite. Interesting. Nitro makes this super soft and easy.

Draught @ Albion. Cloudy dull yellow with smallish creamy off-white head, faint coffee aroma, high carbonation, lightly bitter coffee taste with a hint of cream, thin body, abrupt finish with very little coffee aftertaste. Not bad, not great.

During trolley tour at brewery this potent shit started my decent into drunkenness. Rich vanilla and medicine on palate. Tastes of Pine hops. Honestly too much robutussin. Oak orange peel ginger vanilla sweetness and other weirdness. Like cough medicine but sweeter

Tap at brewery part of trolley tour. Not the prettiest pour. Nose is coffee and cream, tastes is much the same with very little else. Very creamy mouthfeel with sweet on finish. Hop bitterness is nowhere.

At the source: pours dark brown with a small head. Aroma is chcolate, berries, and lactic acid. Taste is pretty sour. Cherries and fruitiness and sugar. Body is not too heavy. Pretty nice.
