Description
Twin Elephant Brewing Company's vision is to offer an extremely fresh variety of high quality, handcrafted ales and lagers brewed mindfully with locally sourced ingredients when available. Our portfolio of beers are not restricted in style or flavor but will have a decided focus on all the classic styles that we have enjoyed drinking for a decade and a half. Our vision is for our patrons to enjoy these unique local beers in a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere that augments their tasting experience and to share their thoughts with each other as well as us so we can continually improve.

Twin Elephant Brewing Company is founded by three partners with the dream of turning their passion for brewing craft beers into an exciting shared adventure with the local community. Scott McLuskey & Tim Besecker have been homebrewing together for over 10 years starting, like most folks do, in the garage and for the last 5 years Cindy DeRama has joined the crew with a proclivity for recipe formulation using unique ingredients. Throughout the years we have honed our craft, learning and practicing the artistry and science of brewing. All three of us have entrepreneurial experience through both education and acting as key cogs in several small businesses throughout the years.

Can pour from Andover Classic Wines. Opaque, creamy yellow with nice sparkle, 2-finger frothy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong citrus, apricot, stone fruit. Taste is strong nonspecific fruit, late cracker, some astringency. Smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste with dry lingering bitterness. Aroma is great. Taste doesn't live up to it. Decent.

Undated can drunk 8/2/23. Heavily hazy, pale golden-light-maize. Fluffy, white head, moderate retention. Nose is white bread and table sugar with white wine-soaked melon. Juicy, heavy melon though it's not punchy. Has an undercurrent of light acidity and rind-like blandness. Low bitterness. Is there lactose here? Seems like it. Strange beer. Not in love with the malt profile which is like table sugar. The yeast is bubble gummy, as well.

16 ounce can from Libby’s Liquors. Murky tan pour. Large pillowy white head is gonna take some time to settle. After the slow dissipation, there is an unusual ring of lacing at the top of the glass. On the nose, some subtle hints of flowers, hay and pine are underscored by the bolder notes of citrus and berries. Tangy and dank citrus floods the palate. Typical of the Kane and Twin Elephant pedigrees. Lime, grapefruit and melon emerge in the middle. Dank, bitter pine and citrus finish this off nicely. That 10% ABV is searing as it slides down your throat. Ouch!
