Sampled on draft this beer poured a black color with a small creamy tan head that left good lacing. The aroma was vanilla, coffee, cocoa and wood. The flavor was smokey and bitter with chocolate, vanilla, coffee and wood. Long finish. Full bodied and smooth.

12 oz can, pours reddish brown clear with thinnish body. Vanilla and molasses predominate the aroma and taste, then the finish is sweet cloying malt.

On tap at patrick's. Yes you can certainly tell its peanut butter from the nose. Heavy dull peanut olfactory. Cloudy, hazy light brown eye. Taste is mild ale with a peanut backbone, not many of those ill ale attributes. Not over the top, the PB is well balanced. Easy going fer sher, one of the better peanut brews. A little bit of medicine shows thru on the finish revealing the 6+%.
