Growler share with Doug and Henry.
My portion was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a murky brown color with an eggshell white foamy head. Softly dissipated to leave some messy lace.
The aroma had sweet roasted nuts, clean caramel malts, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, some vanilla extract, sweet cracker (somewhat like animal crackers), and ended up having a little bit of dark bread at the end.
The flavor took the prior mentioned aromas to blend fairly nice and sweet. Stabilizing little bit of bitterness from the dark chocolate coming in to pull down the sweet tones. Aftertaste slightly reminded me of what happens when oreo cookies meet snickers (just add some booze and this is the beer you’ll get). Finish absorbed the full flavors to steadily possess a spectacular blend of it all.
The palate was about medium bodied with a full on effect of the sipping qualities claiming my tongue just the way I wanted it. Carbonation and ABV both felt good.
Overall, in Star Wars’ \"A New Hope\" when Darth Vader is walking on the flight deck next to the Millenium Falcon and he says \"I haven’t felt that presence since.....\" This is that for me, when I first starting liking beer and then realizing brown ales would be my go to style. I would say that this beer specifically is perhaps the end all and be all of brown ales for me. Since I’m a huge fan of this style, if I could die with a glass of this in my hand....pure bliss

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a semi-dark brown color with a finger’s worth of white to off white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace. Subtle messy clingy lace.
The aroma seems to hit upon some sweet coffee notes, somewhat espresso like and then bitter to roasty tones developing into a sly crisp cocoa malt underneath.
The flavor seems to hit upon a roasty to sweet chocolatey to cocoa bean-like dryness slyly running into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Mild carbonation. ABV felt fine.
Overall, well good for me, seems worthy of having again.

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a hazy deep amber color with a thin off-white head that lasted for a little bit and then as it fell some spotted lace ran here and there.
The aroma had some slight caramel/toffee sweetness, just a touch of bready/cereal notes and then some citrusy sweet to bitter hops at the end.
The flavor yields to the malts initially and then develops with the hops fairly nice, semi-sweet to slight bittersweetness. Lightly blended aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt fine.
Overall, nicely done Irish red ale worthy of having again.

Thanks Justin.
Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a ruddy semi-transparent dark purple color with some carbonation bubbles rising at a decent pace. Mild finger’s worth of white foamy head quickly dissipates. Soft stringy lace.
The aroma had some sweet and tart black cherry skin up front, a light peppery sort of spice, some leather and then some earthy to leafiness at the end. Light hay.
The flavor fuses the black and tart cherry skin to the peppery spice nicely - sweet to tart to earthy. Nice dry aftertaste of the black cherry skin with grassy and earthiness. Semi-sweet dried malty finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation was felt. ABV felt fine to me. Peppery spice doesn’t get in the way, just seems to add a touch of harshness to compliment the carbonation and just feel great all around.
Overall, nicely done saison and with the idea of adding black cherries to this. This little brewery is on my radar now.

Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a hazy to muddy copper/orange color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a fair pace. Sly speckled lace ran here and there.
The aroma has some sweet grassy to citrusy qualities coming out over top of a light malt level.
The flavor seems to lean towards the sweet side of a blend between the hops and the malts. Decently blended aftertaste rolling into the same sort of finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt fine. IBU’s, well, doesn’t seem like 97 to me, way smoother on my tongue.
Overall, for the most part, it was a pretty good AIPA I could come back to if offered. Thanks Justin.
