From Mugi, Bussigny. Serving me this can, relax, on saturday, coming back from Basel. A nice and classical ipa, brewed on the American way, a bit syrupy, malty, yeasty, mineral with a touch of sweetness, fruity, tropical, a bit boozy, 03.04.23.

Yo-Ho Yama no Ue New’ee Ko-shin Noble Hop Ale 4.5%
Very pale gold with thick fluffy white foam. Fruity white grape aroma with a light soda bread grainy malt aroma. Very dry and very prickly carbonation. The taste is fruity white grape with earthy bitter herbal malts.

Black in color with a small tan head. Aroma is caramel, chocolate and dark roasted grains. Taste is also chocolate, caramel and dark roasted grains.

Can. Hazy pastel yellow. Juicy nose, orange grapefruit, light coconut, pineapple. Sweet and juicy tropical fruit flavor. Not particularly heavy. Quite drinkable and probably the best value haze in Japan.

14/6/2025. Can from Yutaka Shop Online. Pours clear golden with a green tint and a small frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, banana, wheaty, herbal, coriander, vanilla, bready edge. Fairly sweet, mild bitterness. Moderate body, average to soft carbonation. Actually quite nice.

Nose is bitter orange, grass, yuzu, citric tinged straw.
Taste comprises orange zest, grapefruit, melon, citric tinged straw, light pine nibble.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with grassy hop bitterness.
Okay old skool leaning IPA.
