Thanks Jake.

The appearance was a slight pale orange color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated fairly quick.
The aroma had some sweet wheaty tones over some citrus, some banana, then some grassy hops. Light leafiness at the end. Some herbal quality as well.
The flavor melds the sweet of all of the previously mentioned aromas together fairly nice. Lingering damp earthy/toastiness in the aftertaste, acceptable, which leads into the finish with a little bit of hay.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt appropriate. Nice smoothness along my tongue, a little unexpected from a wheat ale.
Overall, something else seemed to be in this, something that I couldn’t quite place my finger on, but I want to say, it was something that softened the wheat a bit more. Still, it’s one I’d come back to.

Thanks Jake.
The appearance was a rugged semi-dark brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a moderate pace leaving some trickling stringy lace.
The aroma had some sweet to roasty nuts, some grassy hops, light caramel/toffee backbone and some light toast.
The flavor blends the sweet to the roast fairly nice and adds in slight earthiness. All seems to come together to slide into the aftertaste and roll into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt appropriate. Nice balance between smooth and roast over my tongue.
Overall, good brown ale that helps the transition from Winter to Spring.

At the source: pours amber with an off white head. Aroma is honey and caramel. Taste is pretty malty in such a way that it almost overwhelms the honey notes. Interesting enough combination of flavors nevertheless.

At the source: pours golden with a white head. Pine, dirt, hay and the like. Taste is slightly bitter, with a not too heavy maltiness. Lingering hay and herb aftertaste. Very raw but not in an unrefined way. I liked it.
