The IPA is back after 4 years! A reddish maber IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, pleasant fragrant c-hops, with citrusy notes, quite nice. In mouth, a classy IPA with biscuitty malts, cascade hops, very smooth and subdued, some sweetness in finale, a bit lighter bodied but good. On tap at brewpub, Feb. 1 2011.

A reddish brown porter with a thin light moka head. In aroma, sweet caramel, light nuttyness, some off notes. In mouth, a light herbal caramel malt with off flavors, burned toasts, light and watery. On tap at brewpub, Dec 1 2009.

On tap. Poured a clear gold with a raspberry hue and a large white head that had a red hue as well. Aroma was full of raspberries and sweet wheat notes. The raspberry flavor seemed off and fake. It really fought the rest of the beer.

Cask: Light brown beer with average head with minimum retention. Good floral aroma with some subtle sweetness. Taste is quite impressive with again great sweetness and ending with some dryness in the back of my mouth. This seems to enforce my suspicion that that bitter should only be drank from the cask and not bottle conditioned. I’m a bit surprise by the low rating of that one and wondered if the quality is really constant.

Deep red colour, with a sweet malty nose with some butterscotch. Malty taste with a light hoppiness, but the beer as some acidic tinges to it (turning?).

Gold coloured, creamy head with a nice malty nose, with some biscuits. Sweet malty taste with some nuttiness, fair body, creamy, although a bit thin. Still better than most CT fare.

Some caramel and hops on the nose, with a tinge of acidity (Dum)....very thin beer, with some lactic acid...this beer is off...too little malts for the hops...a BIG disapointment

Hops, honey and grapefruit in the nose, very thin beer, lots of hops but would do with more malts...not balanced at all...notes of citrus near the end...it used to be a lot better than this...disappointed

Aroma of raspeberry with some rotten eggs. The tatse of berry is not overpowering, a lttle on the acidic side, with some wheat detected near the end.
