Another one that did not last long at the end of 2013, but was nice to try. Poured a slight hazed rich amber with a nice frothy warm cap, good retention (best I have seen here) and spotty lacing. Quite a spicy nose with cinnamon, nutmeg, but not much of the tea yet. Wet mouthfeel with not much body. The mouth is where you can taste the infused Earl Grey. A nice experiment as I like Earl Grey. The notes adds to this already good spiced beer.

This one was available for a very limited time, late 2013 and got a chance to try it on cask. Poured a hazy amber colour with a beige small cap and decent wet lacing. Spiced pumpkin aromas, with the honey that does overpower eventually. Wet mouthfeel with very slight dryness in the finish. The taste is milder, but the spices are present. The honey slightly sweetens the beer. This is all around a good spiced cask brew. Glad I could try it.

Pours a clear light golden colour with not much head and no lacing. Very light bubblegum extract aromas with some grainy malts. The taste also has light bubblegum at first, but gets longer and longer in the mouth, every sip. Lots of grain follows in the finish and lingers. Pretty refreshing nonetheless. Quite interesting that the bubblegum and big cereal grain goes well together.

Enjoyed the last of this with PaleAleRider at the Glebe location. Pours a clean deep amber colour with a beige head, average retention and some very good sticky lacing. Orange and other citrus aromas. Nice fruity malts with caramel and balanced by the hops. Light Belgian Ale yeast in the finish with some grass lingering. Refreshingly balanced as not too dry, but with nice bitterness. I like this brew, pairing a Belgian Ale with an IPA. Wish it was available year-round.

Pours a dark brown colour with a yellow-beige frothy head, good retention and small lacing. The nose is spicy with cinnamon and maybe nutmeg, reminding me of their pumpkin ale. Smooth mouthfeel. The coconut is slightly more apparent in the taste with the cocoa notes, chocolate malts. Light bitterness and hints of nuts. Pretty good overall and easy to drink with nice delicate spices. Better than expected, as the coconut was not overpowering.

Purchased a bomber from the brewpub, so enjoying my first Clocktower at home (after drinking their beers for years). Pours a rich amber colour with a big frothy warm cap, great retention and loads of soapy-foamy lacing. Nice fresh aromas of hop with grass and pine notes. The bitterness is there, but not too crazy. A mild dryness is created from the hoppy taste of grapefruit zest. This IPA is quite good and a notch above their regular beers. They should include this one in their year-round brews.

A deep dark brown porter with a thick frothy nitro brown head. In aroma, light grassy chocolate malt with grainy notes, OK. In mouth, a dry powdery chocolate malt with light grassy notes, watery, so-so. On tap at Westboro location.

Cola-looking beer with a small beige head and minimal lacing. Mild roasted malt aromas with hints of licorice. Plain wet mouthfeel. The mint is definitely present in the taste, but not as overpowering as one might think. Decent darker malts. Grain and light mint (anise notes) lingers a bit. A nice Christmassy twist on their Bytown Brown. Must likt minty flavours to enjoy this one. Now, lets see how it goes with their food.

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, loads of cinnamon and cloves, very sweet, milk chocolate, a bit on the cloying side. In mouth, a nice sweetish powdery chocolate with light coffee and spiced notes, faint cinnamon, decent. On tap at Westboro location.

Very pedestrian brown ale here. Pours a syrupy looking brown aroma of barley, nothing else. Faint nip of hops in finish but this tastes more like an RAN than a brown. Average carbonation. Tap at brewpub.
