tasted like white grape juice, on top of hay, a flowers. Light refreshing and hoppy. Nothing tradtional, but very enjoyable. Re-rate blending ratings. very light sav blanc nose. Light, almost creamy mouth, very smooth with a touch of wheat. Light med hopped. Very rounded. Lingering nel Sauvin finish. Wonderful . Never tries to go too hard with too much hops.

Head is a small offwhite ring round the side. Hazy amber body. Earthy musty umami and caramel aroma with fruity alcohol and honey notes. Unusual. Sweet-dryish caramel and strawberry taste with earthy musty notes. Fullish body. Mild, slightly hot mouthfeel. Sweetish linoleum and earth aftertaste with tropical fruit and vanilla notes. Low on bitterness. Mild, light, and drinkable = lethal. Interesting. Many subtle and complex aromas. (0.2l draft at Craft Beer Keg, Nagoya. 9%, so 2007 vintage.)

2013 version, draught. They changed the name this year. Even better hops, spicer yeast, great flavors. Draught at the Kyoto craft Beer Festival, 2012. Cloudy yellow. Great hops in a clean Belgian wit. Grassy, nice citrus, no artificial spiciness. Crisp and very dinrkable, perfect for a hot summer day.

Aroma is smooth, really malty and somewhat sweet with cocoa and some caramel. Feels like a good doppelbock. Flavour is really malty and somewhat sweet with chocolate, some coffee and caramel. On blindtasting I would take this as a doppelbock. Very rich on chocolate, a bit too sweet but good.

Aroma is sweet with berries, malt and some sugar. Flavour is also sweet with malt, berries and lots of sugar. Needs definitely more ageing (or more hops).

bottle from Yamaoka. Tangy wheat aroma, lemony, yeast, slightly spicy. No hop nose. Cloudy pale yellow with lace. Round, malty wheat flavor, slightly tangy with citrus, sweet and cereals, very low hops. Refreshing enough, but not so special. Needs more of the hops in the name. Tangy, slightly bitter finish. Not one of their best.

Draught at Q-Brick. Deep orange with no head. Yeasty, estery nose with citrus, stewed peaches, spice. Sweet flavor with big peach, spice. Fruity, sweet, and spicy, with a decent bitter, hoppy finish. A nicely hopped Belgian amber, but nothing at all like an IPA.

Draught at Barley. Basically their weizen with a different hopping scheme. Cloudy yellow-gold color, almost pastel, with a high, fine head. Hefeweizen aroma—banana, clove, maybe a hint of citrus. Not very American aroma. Slightly peppery. Flavor of banana, clove, with some more hop bite than usual Rich and thick body. Not really very American! A bit grassy, and some citrus. A nice weizen with good bitterness.

Bottle. 2009 vintage. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy dark fruit aroma. Slightly sweetish malty dark fruit flavor with hints of hops and some weak hints of caramel. Has a sweetish malty dark fruit finish.

dark brown color. A touch of peat and chocolate in the nose. Lovely caramel, chocolate, peat, very smooth. A touch smokey. Nice.
