Pours near black with a lingering light tan head. It smells of dark roast malt, chocolate, and piney hops. The flavor is moderately bitter. It’s roasty and piney with a medium body. Very enjoyable.

Pours lightly hazy gold. It smells of hop resin and mild citrus. The flavor is moderately bitter with some citrus and pine notes and a little caramel. It’s pretty good but for me doesn’t hold a candle to Two Hearted.

Can, pour is near clear pale. Nose is mild lemonade. Taste is not as sweet as most shandies, more like a fruit beer, if you ask me. Yes, it is quite fine and refined & easy to drink. Its actually refreshing for a change, not to have a super tart nor overly sweet shandy. Decent co2 from start to finish. Overall this stuff is much better than the original oberon I tasted back in 2007. It doesn't have any of those negative wheat ale attributes. Not sure why this beer carries that same name, it certainly has none of the typical wheat ale negative connotations, and I'm thankful for that!

Six pack from Albertsons. Hazy yellow golden pour, small foamy head subsides. Light citrusy aroma takes a hard lean onto grapefruit peel in the taste. Nice zesty bite, well balanced, very approachable.

Lemon and pine. Dark golden pour with decent head. Bitter end. Good body, lots of citrus. Best of the three new rates I had from a two hearted mixed 12 pack. Something of a return to form at least.

12oz can. Wow. This is a new low in the history of Bells, which I guess I should accept is over. Gross rindy onion hop tone. No real malt tone. Unappealing taste. Pretty much a terrible beer.

Tangerine and some lime. Clear golden pour, no haze here, heart or no. Light bitter end. Can.
