Description
Drink Hiver, save bees.
Un[bee]lievable right?

Well, the truth is we’ve been as committed to bees as we have been to beer since we started brewing our flagship fresh and natural blonde beer back in 2013.

Bottle from local Sainsburys. Aroma is mainly honey with some biscuits and a hint of hops. Pours a reddish orange with a small cream head and some lacing. Honey and hops again combining in the mouth with metallic overtones and traces of orange and ginger. Texture is creamy and the honey makes it a bit cloying. Finish is quite bitter and a bit gassy. A pretty decent old school IPA.

Bottle, £1.30 on sale on that Ocado. Aroma has subtle honey and a hint of sourness. Opaque chestnut brown. Thin translucent white head offers sparce coverage. Light bitter with a sour edge. The honey sweetness then follows up and is pretty restrained. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat-medium bodied. Pretty abrupt finish. Pleasant enough.

Bottle, as Fabal Lager, seven months before bbd. Pours clear darkish yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is hoppy floral notes with herbs and sweet citrus, as well as light malts with cereals, toffee and honey. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is light grainy malts with cereals and honey, as well as some herbal hops with citrusy notes. Just another generic lager really.
