On tap at the brewpub.
Appearance: cloudy burnt yellow to cardboard orange color with a bar pour's kind of slim white head which dissipated but didn't leave any lace
Aroma: banana, clove, sweet wheat, light bubblegum then a subtle grassy edge underneath
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together in a sweet to light spicy tone underneath; finishes wheaty to vanilla to banana-like
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, smooth along the tongue then a lighter than expected wheaty kick
Overall: seemed to have mostly everything until the wheaty kick which seemed to be somewhat weak as to compared to top tier hefeweizens. Still, I gotta admit this is a better stab at the style than many other American brewers.

On tap at the brewpub.
Appearance: dark red color with a bar pour's kind of dimming head which didn't last and didn't provide any lace
Aroma: toasted nuts, dark bread, caramel scents, light coffee and a touch of sweet grains
Flavor: sweet, bready and toasty meshing the prior noted aromas together; finishes caramel-y and bready
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, very smooth along the tongue, light dryness
Overall: I would welcome this beer again.

Can from me manager. Aroma has coffee and berries with a yeastie streak. Opaque dark brown. Thick foamy beige head. A tangy introduction. Sour berries. A metallic hint. Followed by light coffee bitterness. Malts. Soda. Light. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Hits the spot. Not too sweet which for me is a positive.

Gift from my manager, who was visiting the area. Aroma has sour tinged spice. Malts. Clear dark amber. Thick foamy off-white head. Spicy. Malty. Fruit/berry edge adds sourness. More fruit and malts and spice. Light-medium bodied. Slick verging on creamy. Lazy soft carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle from Trader Joe's. Pours a slightly hazy copper with no head. Banana and clove aromas with a bit of oxidation present. Good banana esters on the palate, but watery and very little carbonation. This feels totally oxidized and/or old at this point. Hope to get up to the brewery at some point but this was not in good condition unfortunately.
