Single from City Swiggers. A week sleep in the fridge, lo-ball glass @home. Hazy honey tea pour, active. Earthy, acidic, sharp, ever slight barnyard character on the nose. Taste is mellow black tea, lemon tart, grape tannins, bone dry & slightly wild fermented cider. Herbal, sharp, plenty astringent, quite acidic, very thin, sparkly, low abv. Dry, pithy finish. Lightweight & kinda great.

Tallboy from Finger Lakes Bevvy. Lowball glass in my hotel of infinite sadness. Smells of pine, smoke, sweet apple-laced dank. Freshly sweet & sharp apples upfront, cascade citrus, pith, lemon finish that dries out further. Surprisingly decent bitterness, cascades aren't super potent & fruity. No serious brett character, maybe just body. Thin, very acidic, boozy for 5.5% Good.

Crisp, almost pale golden coloured body with no head at all, some small bubbles rising from the bottom, but nothing large. Aroma of pure apples, some light honey and pears and a dose of very light bread on the finish. Light-bodied; Super appley flavour with a nice fresh kick from pears, lemons and way more fresh apples, all with a touch of yeast and a grassy kick that shows the dry malt near the end. Aftertaste shows the light sweetness form honey and more apples and a lot of fresh apple kick with pears and dry malt getting past the yeast and ending with, yes - more fresh apple flavour, which is a great thing. Overall, a very subdued and easy-drinking cider with a fresh apple flavour showing a lot of sweetness and a very simple, dry flavour that makes this very nice to sample and a robust offering, and if one likes ciders, perhaps one to go out of the way to find/gather. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 20-November-2016 for US$2,19 sampled at home in Washington on Independence Day, July 4th, 2017.
