Red ale 4.5. Cask at the Guildford Arms. Pours clear amber with a thin off-white head. Aromas of woody malt, faint spice. Taste is more of the same. Thin finish.

Cask at CBC SG - London. Pours an attractive clear gold with a lasting, creamy topping. The aroma holds pale grains, simple bread, straw, lemon peel. Light sweet flavour with some grassy and husky bitterness, lime, pale bread. Light bodied with fine carboantion. Decent balance on the finish, with more bitter grass, grains, bready sweetness and light, citrusy hops. Not bad.

[ As Revolutions Blue Monday ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, wheat, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, ash - roasted, fruity, yeast, light spicy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160220]

[ As Revolutions Amnesiac ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, biscuit malt, sharp fruity, light earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, fruity, biscuit malt, sweet fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160218]

Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 10/4/2016. Near black and opaque, with a decent, off-white, head. Aroma of toasted malts, chocolate and liquorice, with a touch of leafy hop. Flavour was sweetish, with more chocolate, dense malts and a gentle finish. Good.

Cask @ Baum, Rochdale. Black with a small off-white creamy head. Here thereโs a good roasted malt aroma, which is similar in taste but with a mild milkiness.

[ As Revolutions Demo #8 (Codename โNigelโ) ].Clear medium orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, flowers, orange - citrus, grapefruit, light pine. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, tropical fruit, citrus, pale malt. Cask, half pint at Flowerpot, shared with Finn. Almost black in body appearance. Dark leafy hops on the nose Mixed taste of dark dough, dark fruits and a backdrop of liquorice. Fair enough (Derby 18.02.2016).
