Bottle purchased for dirty cheap as it a touch old. It pours hazy deep orange - amber with a medium off-white head. The nose is bitter - sweet, perfumed, orange peel, stewed fruits, peach, fruit cake and light toffee. The taste is crisp, bitter, pine needles, stewed orange, peach, lemon rind, peppery spice and varnish with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Pretty ok.

Bottle shared at the Ale House, Chelmsford. Pours close to black with a tan head. Moderate aroma of coffee, chocolate, malt, and sea-salt. Medium sweetness and bitterness, with a light saltiness. Medium+ body, slick texture, soft carbonation. The oyster comes through the more you get through it. Decent if a little less spectacular than had been hoped.

Oh, this is the business!

Keg at Mother Kelly’s, Bethnal Green, London. A hazy golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, tropical fruit aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, tropical fruit, slightly sweet. Nice session ale more of a SIPA than a golden ale.
