Thanks Raipe! Aroma of raisins, mämmi, sherry. Medium-bodied. Aged very well. Mämmi, raisins, licorice, dark malts in the flavor. Portwineous. Of course now quite watery, but aged well!

aroma is quite strong, but i have a har dtime figuring what it is. probably due to aging. flavor is mostly caramel, dark fruits, nice hops, sugar. palate is a little too watery overall interesting and quite tasty.

First rating(33 cl bottle) Vintage 1989. On March 14, 2008. Very dark brown color, small brown head. Sweet, raissin, sugar, honey, mead, vinous, fruity scent. Smoke, sweet, honey taste. Roasted and sweet licorice aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. Guess this is a bit too old, would be interesting to try the 1996 version now.7/1/7/3/13=3.1Rerate33 cl bottle, 1987 vintage. Thanks to deft!On December 13, 2008Labelled 4.5% Alcohol by weight.Darl copper color with lots of particles, small white head. 330ml bottle (1996), trading with omhper in Stockholm some months ago. Consumed during a rating party at Finn’s in Tromsø. The beer was still possible to drink, but had obvious lost some of its initial flavour. Pours a dark brown coloured body with a thin off-white head. Dark malty aroma with a touch of wort. Flavour is also malty with "blockmalz" and hints of brittle caramel. Sweet malty tail (23.02.2007)

1996 bottle. Dark clear brown ale with a thin off white head. Maderized raisins and figs, with chocolate and roasted nuts. Almost no carbonation left, but good sweet malt and nutty notes. Light bodied, and a bit lifeless. Sampled with Mtl crew, April 16 2006.

(Bottle 33 cl) Vintage 1996. Very black, opaque beer with a solid head. Very full-bodied and potent beer - I’m surprised it isn’t any stronger than 5,5%. Notes of smoke and coffee with some underlying sweetness. A very tasty and characterful brew. 081000
