(Bottled) Pale brown/yellow, hazy colour. White, firm head. Yeasty aroma with notes of banana. Light mouthfeel. Quite acidic with a dry, nutty finish. Very refreshing and thirst-quenching.

Sampled draught at the brewpub.
The second of the new beers from Gamla Stan pours pale golden with just some haze and average head. The aroma is grassy, it is really dry and bready. It is firmaly malty with pleasant soft mouthfeel and ahas a lingering, grassy, very bitter finish. A great pilsener enjoyed in the evening spring sun at the very beautiful location at the seaside of Old Town in Stockholm. Finally we have something like a real brewpub!

Bottled. Cloudy pale yellow with rich head. Rich fruity aroma with distinctive note of cloves. Firmly malty and fresh, medium sweet, rather bready with banana in the finish. Really fresh and well balanced. This is the first of hopefully many new beers to come out of this brewpub which has made nothing but pale lagers for years, and it is really promising.

There must've been something wrong with the one I tried. It tasted quite stale.

Pale golden coloured, slightly hazy. Grassy aromatic nose, medium bodied, fresh feeling, less than avergae bitterness. I don't know if this beer was better thgan the regular offering, if it goes particularly well with traditional Swedish midsummer food, or if midsummer just is a nice time to drink beer, but I liked this better than their regular Färsköl.

An amber christmas lager. Cnfiltered and unpasteurized. Rather discrete and balanced with toffee flavours, and not very much bitterness.

An unfiltered and unpasteurized pale lager from Stockholms only brewpub. At it's best it's very aromatic and rather complex. The bottled version is never at it's best though, and instead you'll get a golden coloured, slightly hazy reasonably malty standard lager.
