On tap at BTBF. Pours with a black hued body with a tan head that lasts. Aromas are of cola, bourbon, chocolate, raisins and ash. Mild esters, wet wood. Flavors are a bit chalky, bourbon vanillin, raisny, dark fruits, cola. Bourbon character is a bit lower than I would like. Medium tannins, chalky, somewhat higher carbonation than expected, with a somewhat drying alcohol finish.

Bottle thanks to Bruce. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with medium frothy off white head that lasts awhile leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong citrus lemon zest. Thin mouthfeel with crisp citrus and wheat flavor. Easy to drink crisp finish. A very good wheat ale from Lakewood.
