About
In 1872 Friedrich Eder, the founder of the brewery, acquired the brewery and restaurant "Zum Ochsen", which has been known since 1779. This was the nucleus of today's brewery in Grossostheim. In the following decades the company grew steadily.

Since 1999 the Schlappeseppel beers are brewed here.

A brown beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel, while the flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel. Øv, we lost to Canada in hockey at the World Championships while I was drinking this beer - after winning the second period 3-0 - I hope it is not the beers fault.

An orange beer with a white head. The aroma is quite sweet with a strong dusty and hoppy note. The flavor is sweet malty with a light dusty note, leading to a dry slightly bitter end. The body is thin.

Das Bier ist trotz seiner Milde nicht geschmacksarm, es startet hopfig-süßlich, wobei der süße Ton bis zum Ende erhalten bleibt und den Nachgeschmack dominiert. Malzig wirds im Mittelteil, eine leichte Herbe lässt sich ebenfalls nicht verleugnen. Ein leckeres und mildes Bier, das ist "Premium"!
