Description
In 1872 Friedrich Eder, the founder of the brewery, acquired the brewery and restaurant "Zum Ochsen", which has been known since 1779. This was the nucleus of today's brewery in Grossostheim. In the following decades the company grew steadily.
Since 1999 the Schlappeseppel beers are brewed here.

Puh, schwer einzuordnen. Das Bier schwankt zwischen süffig malzigem Karamell und unsauberer Plädderichkeit. Als hätte man irgendwann mit der Sorgfalt einfach aufgehört weil der Feierabend kurz bevor stand und das Bier ja eigentlich so schon gut genug ist. Somit leider nur Mittelmaß obwohl da echt mehr drin gewesen wäre. Ausreichend steht im Zeugnis.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden yellow and bright. Snow white head. Nose - corn and green beans. Taste - green bean, bitter salad. Bready underneath. Palate - light bodied, bitter middle and finish. Overall - good.
