Can. Slightly cloudy gold with a 2cm white head that lasts well. Aroma of baking bread, the meadow. A little sweet; grainy and a touch buttery as well as bready with a very fresh swell of spicy hops at the modestly bitter but snappy finish. Slips down.

Can. Clear amber with an inch of off white head. Aroma of breadcrust, peach, light spices. Perhaps some pears as well. Light bodied. Fruity with caramel and toasted hints before a creeping spicy bitterness. I would have liked a bit more but it's neat enough and very drinkable.

Can. Golden amber with a dense cm of white head. Modest grainy aroma with some herbal notes. Clean, richly malty before drying alcohol and herbal/ pepper-accented bitterness at the end. Decent in a style I rarely love.

Can. A little lighter gold than PU with an inch of white head. Grain and floral aroma with some spices. Quite rich malt with grainy crackers and a hint of butter before firm bitterness where pepper pops right at the end. Satisfying drop.

As Pilsner rather than Pils and labelled as x Hofbrauhaus Melbourne as part of a Zusammengehörigkeitsgefühl bunch of releases. But I'm guessing it's the same beer. Clear gold with a fading white head. Aroma of grass and spices over light bread. Perhaps a little undercarbonated. Clean light bready malt. A little earthy along with the grass and spices. Dry and firmly bitter at the end. Solid.
