(Can) Pours black with big tan head. Lovely aroma with chocolate, coffee, roast nuts, hints of dough and dried fruit. Full bodied, smooth, slightly creamy with plenty of soft carbonation. Good taste too with a nice balance between sweetness and bitterness. The rich sweeter notes are up front, with assertive hop and burnt sugar bitterness growing through the palate. There’s coffee, chocolate and raisins at the start, and some smooth creamy notes. Complex and interesting and an enjoyable drink.

A really fun, drinkable IPL. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon and pine lead into biscuit, malt and straw. The pine and citrus in the mouth is matched by some sweet stonefruit with a malt finish. It's very sudsy, but otherwise a really satisfying new wave lager.

Can from Carwyn Collaborational. Gold and somewhat hazy. Big grapy nose with pineapple. Extremely well-balanced with really fruit bowl of flavours but with a more traditional backbone. A real pleasure.

Carwyn Collaborational. Excellent looking can - took me ages to spot Di Fisher though. Somewhat hazy gold with an inch of white head. Vibrant aroma of white grapes, citrus, pine and pineapple, breadcrust. Some mango skin lurks. Just medium bodied. There's a bit of a crusty bread underpinning but then tropical fruit and citrus pop before resin comes through at the dry and bitter end. When the idea is juicy but West Coast it's often a letdown but not here. Just my sort of thing.

Pours copper with small head.Nose shows bready and toasty malt, resinous hops, piny notes and a bit of tropical fruit confectionery.Flavours include more bready and toasty malt, assertive piny hops, resinous notes and a fair whack of caramel. Finishes with more of the lingering pine in a fairly punchy, but balanced, bitterness.

Can, 16 months of age. Smells and tastes like a luscious glass of Nutella. Well-rounded, dessert in a can.

(Can) Pours black with big tan head. Lovely aroma of pine, with chocolate and toast notes. Full body with a smooth mouthfeel in the finish with good soft plentiful carbonation. It’s an unusual mix of flavours that works very well. There’s refreshing bright tart fruity notes mainly at the start. There’s some rich notes almost like dark chocolate milk, especially in the mid palate. And there’s some good hoppy bitterness in the finish. Very enjoyable.
