A gutsy pale ale. The aroma is dominated by mandarin, plus some biscuit. It's got a nice body with a grapefruit finish and some honey as well. Not complex, but very drinkable.

aromas of grass, dirt, mandarin, caramel and bread make for a nice start. Got a little astringency in mine, plus some sharper hops.

Pours amber with a large white lasting head.Nose shows coffee, hay, cocoa and earthy notes. Enticing.Flavours include more earthy coffee and cocoa-like characters, nutty notes also. Behind is hay and faint biscuity malt.

Given the existence of this can as uttered forth in the Promise of AnthropopOttermetry quaquaquaqua (I'll stop now lest I be struck dumb). Golden amber with a good cm of white head. Mildly funky aroma of apricot, dried banana, brioche dough, spices. 7+ Rich and sweet but not as heavy as it threatened to be with slightly leaner malt and snappy spicy bitterness with a little alcohol making it quite drinkable. Finish is full of white pepper and coriander. Good, in spite of the tennis.

Can. Gold with a good cm of white head that lasts OK. Shyish aroma of hay and light dough with oranges and some passionfruit. Getting towards thin. Lean crackery malt with mildly funky spices, citrus and a decent snappy bitter end. Refreshing.

Can. Deep amber with a small beige head. Aroma of bread, toffee, some stone fruit & spices. Malty and quite rich with proper stinging bitterness that gradually makes its presence felt. Satisfying drop.

Can. Copper amber with an off white head. 3+ Aroma is biscuity with some caught toffee, spices and nuts. 7+ So it tastes. Malty but light on the palate - dryish with a little grassy and spicy bitterness at the end. Good, complex and well balanced.

Can. The amber end of gold with a white head that doesn't last. Aroma of light dough, hints of stone fruit, misty lemon and spices. A bit maltier than guessed but still very quaffable with a little yeasty intrigue - bubblegum, stone fruit, hints of funk - before a moderately bitter & spicy finish which has some phenols as well as esters. I do like that it's only a slight twist.
