0.5l bottle. Pours very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate and bready malts. Taste of lightly toasted bready malt, caramel, chocolate, dried fruits, semi sweet. Light-medium body.

On tap at Mahr’s Braü, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma has light herbaceous character, grass, and straw. Flavour is dry and malty for a helles, with dry overcooked bread, straw, and a touch of grassy bitterness. Much maltier than the typical helles. Clean but missing that hoppy herbaceous brightness.

On tap at Mahr’s Braü, pours a clear amber with a medium white head. Aroma has bready malt, light grassiness, and straw. Flavour is maltier for a pils, with bready malt, light grassy bitterness, and some crusty bread. Clean and bright despite the huskiness on the finish. Pleasant.

0.5 l bottle from 'Beyond Beer', best before January 2026. Hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, a little sourish, gently fruity aroma of lemonade, some lemon juice and traces of grains. Quite sweet, slightly sourish, rather fruity taste of lemon juice, lemonade and light grains, followed by a short, gently bitter, a little tartish finish. Thin to medium, slightly astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Alright.

On tap at Ambasada, Zagreb. Clear golden, small lasting off-white head. Aroma is malty, yeasty and sour cabbage aroma. Bready, caramely and lightly fruity, tart berries, yeasty flavour or possible light infection. Cloying, creamy, too smooth. Lacks drinkability. Finishes slightly sweet.

Kraakheldere gouden body en een fijne witte kraag. Aroma's van mout en hop. Smaak is lichtjes bitter met een zacht moutzoetje. Fijn bittere finish.
