375ml can brought back from Australia by my farmer friend Graham. Poured into my IPA tasting glass at home on 29th May 2026. Hazed dark lemon skin colour, fast fading white head. Citrus fruit nose and taste, leaning towards bitter flavour wise. Grapefruit seemed to be the major player, with other unsweetened fruits trying to butt in. Interesting and enjoyable, not your average Aussie swill.

Can. Opaque dull orange with a white head that fades a bit. Aroma of sharpish oranges, herbs, tropical fruit, crackers. Soft texture avoids chalkiness. Fruity and a bit green herbal but just stays on the right side of brusque . A bit bitter too. Refreshing.

Can. Clear gold with a good cm of white head. Gooseberry and grassy Sauv Blanc aroma doesn’t make it hard to guess the feature hop. Some passionfruit, almost green mango and light bread too. Clean to the point of vacancy but gently sweet with rippling aromatics before a dryish and moderately bitter finish. Very nice.

Anotehr Canvent special. More brown than black. Almost Vegemite nose. Classic black IPA flavour-wise. Roasty, bitter, dry. To my liking.

Can. Deep back with white head. Coffee on nose. Roasty, nutty with lush creaminess that lifts the flavours. Not sweet. Lovely.

Can. Packaged just over a week ago. Golden and clear. Pine needles and pineapple aroma. Tropical juice flavour with more pine. Bitterness that lingers. Very nicely done indeed.

Can at home, Nivala. Thanks Arde! Colour is cleaer orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Some fruits, pine, hops and malts. Hoppy but little bit of twisted.
