An unclear dark golden to amber colored beer with a creamy finger-thick beige head leaving lacing. The aroma is a bit heavy on the caramel I think, bread too perhaps, and quite piney and citrusy. There’s a vague touch of nailpolish remover both in aroma and flavor, I could easily do without that, because else it’s a decent IPA. Personally I’d prefer it more bitter and perhaps slightly drier. It’s full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated, with a piney, resiny finish with bread and caramel in the back. Far from the perfect IPA, but sure drinkable. Pity about that off-flavor. 170816
