17/10/2024. Can bought at 7-Eleven, near Mipo station, Busan. South Korea rating #50. Enjoyed from the can at Songjeong Beach. Aroma is grainy, sweet malts, corn on the cob, metallic edge. Quite sweet with low bitterness. Light body, quite lively. Fair.

15/10/2024. Can bought at 7-Eleven, Gunam-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan. Pours clear golden with a small short lasting frothy white head. Aroma is corny, sweet malt, wet hop, light citrus, touch metallic. Not a particularly pleasant bitterness to taste. Light body, watery, fizzy. Not very good.

Fairly sweet with moderate bitterness, and a slight metallic and tart edge. Moderate body, average carbonation. Pretty basic but drinkable.

15/10/2024. Can bought at 7-Eleven, Gunam-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan. Pours clear golden amber with a small frothy off-white head. Had low expectations but this was one of the better Hite experiences. Pleasant malty fruity citrus aroma and balanced taste with a drying finish. Expected this to rock in around 2.0 but I liked it and I don’t think I was influenced by it being my first South Korean beer in South Korea.

50cl bottle at Taejo Gamjaguk, Seoul, South Korea. Pours pale blonde, transparent, with fine-medium white foam. Aroma is only cereal, uninteresting. Body is light, with moderate carbonation. Taste is less interesting than aroma, with a generic moderate sweetness. Final is a little weak, but at least all put together it's drinkable.
