Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Light gold. Soft haze. Some yeasty floaters. Thin and bubbly, lasting, lacing, white head. Nose has lemon yoghurt. A citrus note, similar to grapefruit or sweet lemon, that presumably comes from the pomelo addition. Some dry grain. Touch of funk. Taste is mostly sweet, with a cheesy, lemon pith bitterness. Some sourness on the palate. Pretty clean and crisp. Low to medium carbonation feels perfectly pitched. Gets a little acidic, and slightly dry toward the finish. Very nice.

Bottle at home. Pours hazy reddish pink, nose is berries, apple, funk, little burnt rubber, taste is tart berries up front, harsh and rubbery in the finish and linger. Unfortunate. --- Beer merged from original tick of Foraged Autumn 2017 on 06 Sep 2018 at 09:53 - Score: 5
