Description
Evil Twin Brewing was started up “nomadically” in 2010 by Jeppe Jarnit- Bjergso. In 2012, Jeppe and his family decided to make New York City their home and join the burgeoning local beer scene. In 2016, Jeppe was approached with the opportunity to finally root his ideas & dreams and Evil Twin Brewing NYC was born.
At Evil Twin Brewing NYC we wanted to expand upon the traditions of innovation & further it with the intimacy of a local neighborhood microbrewery. With more control over our recipes, we are able to experiment on new flavors while perfecting the classics.
Collaboration is a huge part of Evil Twin Brewing NYC & we are excited to be able to host & collaborate with all the amazing brewers in NYC and throughout the world within our very own home base! We strive to be a community space for all of Ridgewood and Queens and our goal is that our brewery and taproom becomes a place for locals and beer tourists alike.
Our Queens brewery has been a long time coming & we are thrilled to have a home where our families, friends, and neighbors have a place to share our love for great beer, food & culture with the Ridgewood community, NYC, & the world!

Can shared at the DCBeer February share. Poured a cloudy, slightly dull yellow-orange color with a fluffy white head. Aroma was juicy tropical fruits, with some light smoke. Very juicy. Light and pretty smooth.

Canned 473ml. -at Goblet Zagreb. Murky orange (juice) coloured, small beige head, light doughy and lactose nose. Dough, sweet, vanilla, lactose, sugar and sweet finish. Nope, more smoothie than ipa.

Aromas are sweat, resin, malt, with a little MJ and melon. Flavors are similar to nose, add in a bit of mint, bittersweet with slightly soft carbonation. Decent but not great.

Aromas are sweet tart, jammy sangria and malt. Flavors are similar to nose, sweetheart gets more intense as does jamminess. Okay body, carbonation and finish. I can see how it would really appeal to some people but it's not really for me.

Aromas are a pleasant of resin, citrus, stone fruit, malt and wood shavings. Flavors are similar to nose, just slightly more sweet than bitter with enough carbonation and bitter to balance. Full round body. Alcohol doesn't show up at all. Pretty good.

CBJ bottleshare. Thanks to the team for the can. Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Airy malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Soft pine into savoury hop skunk. Reasonable citrus, slightly ripe and slightly bitter. Light finish. Good all rounder, far from blown away.

CBJ bottleshare. Thanks to the team for the bottle. Opaque dark brown beer, tiny tan head. Smooth and viscous palate, decent fine carbonation. Viscous dark malts, a cakey dark chocolate and almond. Dark chocolate liqueur. A mild spice on the finish. Nice, perhaps a bit almond.

Keg at CBJ. Hazy candy pink beer, small pink head. Airy palate, semi dry, good fine carbonation. Good berry sherbet, strawberry and raspberry. Some lemon sherbet on the back end. Excellent sherbet fruit sour. Give me this over blood Cantillon any day!

Keg at CBJ. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth airy palate, decent fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Airy malts, a light creamy sweetness. Soft pine. Slightly watery but tasty and bright hop citrus. A little savoury skunk. Modest citrus peel. A slightly watery dipa but strangely, very drinkable.
