Draught at Kingston Taphouse and Grille, Vancouver
Blond color, with compact head. The aroma is too simple, but it has a quite nice malt flavor and correct bitterness, it also has an accent of cereals.
Easy but not bad.

A hazed dark amber IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, smooth caramel malt with nice herbal hops, mandarine pulp. In mouth, a nice smooth herbal sweet malt with grassy piney hops, fruity esters, kiwi, nice. Cask at Cask Days 2012.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Dark mahogany color with small creamy head. The aroma is mild, dark caramel, some chocolate dust. The body is quite strong; it has a strong flavor of dark caramel, moderate spicy touch, roasted nuts; it also has too much bitterness in the end and some metallic character.
Unrefined.

Bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver
Dark amber color, with compact head. Mild aroma of caramel, hops, esters, high alcohols, very light apricot jam. The mouthfeel is smooth and round; it has a pretty good caramel flavor, moderate sweetness, and quite strong bitterness; the hop provides a mild character of bitter oranges too; the yeast leaves some trace, also a light metallic feeling; some darker caramel dominates the final, with light fruitiness.
Solid beer, quite pleasant, with a very minor flaw.
